threesixfive: week nineteen. sunglasses on cloudy days, why i'm prideful, and current reads...

It's week nineteen of my 365. Back to the "norm"! No more tea, please. I found it a touch hard to get back into the swing of capturing the everyday pieces of life... it surprised me. However by the end of the week I was back in my groove. :)

Wednesday: photo one-hundred-twenty-eight:
sunny days and sunglasses. the two go together like cheese and crackers (and that sounds even cheesier than cheese and crackers. i apologize).

confession: sometimes i wear my sunglasses even when it's cloudy outside... just because i feel so fly with those big shades on my face. please tell me i'm not alone in this?

Thursday: photo one hundred-twenty-nine:
driving down country paths, watching the sky roll by and the grass spread far and green.

Friday: photo one-hundred-thiry:
lemon and cashew cookies. these.were.so.good. so i say this about everything i bake... but it's true!! i know that sounds concieted - and i apologize from the deepest depths of my soul for that. but i cannot lie. they were good.

Saturday: photo one-hundred-thirty-one:
a hand. rim light. darkness.

Sunday: photo one-hundred-thirty-two:
going places. high heels with pretty flowers. getting home and being nothing but happy to be home (love that home-after-a-really-long-day-out-and-i-need-my-pjs-on-now feeling).

Monday: photo one-hundred-thirty-three:
my current library reads:
one: the great gatsby. one word: okay, two - so.GOOD. i never read this book in high school as many have... so i read it for the first time a few months ago. and now once again i've checked it out at the library because it's just so perfect. to start - it has so many lovely quetabels. one of my favorite quotes from this book? "It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living."
two: the last of the mohicans. just started on this - never read it before. another classic. I'm sure it will be good.
three: shakespeare poems and sonnets. just to skim through, just because.
four: death of an artist. a random book on display at the library. the title caught my eyes. it's a mystery and the book's synopsis and good reviews sounded promising, so i grabbed it up. we'll see!

hope you guys enjoyed this week's photos...
