Goodbye to all my sweet friends... I and my 365 photos will be seeing you elsewhere... :) (Leaving blogger!)

Guys, it's been great, but my time here on blogger is up...

To be honest I've been wanting to close down my blogger for a long time now. I kept up with it out of pure dedication and discipline. I'm not someone who enjoys writing out all their life's thoughts (though I think people that do are fantastic!). It's work for me and something I really have to schedule out. However, please don't get me wrong - in many ways it's been worth it - I've met some extremely wonderful and kind people here that have made it all more than lovely to have been here. However those people I am able to keep up with on Facebook, etc.

And really... I'm not leaving the blogging world altogether... just the blogging community. My new photography website, poeticcapturephotography.com, is the home to my new blog. I will be keeping it very simple, however (at least at this point in time) - posting only photos and business deals.

I will also be continuing my 365 logs on Fb. I'm pretty sure everyone who comments here I am friends on there with? :)

It's been good, guys, but at the same time it feels good to move on and de-clutter my mind a bit. :) I'm SO grateful to the several sweet friends who have commented and read my blog during my time here - I always have appreciated it SO much. :)

Looking forward to seeing my readers around elsewhere. :) I will NOT be deleting this blog because it's super annoying when people do that. ;) I just won't be around anymore. :)
Much love!

365: Two week catch-up, and how hand sanitizer ruined my computer...

It's time for a two week 365 catchup... last week I was forced to miss posting. Why? Because being the genius I am (on occasion), I wiped down my laptop keyboard with hand sanitizer. It ruined the keyboard and my computer was functioning only minimally. Now that I have an external keyboard hooked up to it it is useable but still a bit glitchy. So that is the reason for the delay. :)

Below you will find two weeks of photos - photos  261-274.

Going one day with my sister to her nanny job I get to see these two little guys play and laugh. They are the cutest.

They like toy cars....

and teddy bears too. <3 nbsp="" p="">
(this was snapped as little Mason was waiting on the stairs for his mommy to come home)

Rain coming down hard and long.

Morning hours and my sister is making a quick scramble of eggs on the stove.

Love it when Mr. Howdy comes to visit me in my room. Not so much when he jumps up on my desk.

And there he goes...

three hour long road trips to visit grandpa provides plenty of time to read and reflect.

night skies and city lights.

Morning sheets all  jumbled and tossed. Just how my brain feels.

Catnaps.

Driving down country roads.

A sleeping Howdy.

Look at that little smile on his face... :)

my desk.

Rain beating against the window pane.

light glowing through white curtains.

Repetition.

Seize the day.

Driving on a beautiful day, listening to classical music. :) Makes me happy.

(my) feet.

The end. :)

A day in the city - a 1960's photo shoot

I'm excited to share with you guys a photo shoot I was able to do several weeks ago.

My sister had brought up to me that doing a 1960's photo shoot would be neat. So one Saturday soon after we did just that - I styled her hair and makeup (first visiting Pinterest for plenty of retro inspiration!)... And being the fashion fiend (*hack*hoarder, wink-wink) she is, she already owned the dress and shoes. And so we set out to the big city.

I hope you enjoy these photos!

I'd love to hear your thoughts and favorite photos in a comment. :)
