Wednesday: photo seventy-seven: do you ever go in a parking garage and just love.those.shadows hanging out everywhere? oh, and all the arrows/leading lines? yes, yes! it's lovely. one day i really do need to do a photo shoot in one. until then... this photo will have to suffice.
Thursday: photo seventy-eight: driving through the rain. on a dark, dark, dark, exponentially cloudy day. i love it. at least as much as driving on a crisp, bright day. it's so cozy. the car lights... the soft putter-putter of rain... and the slooow whoop-whoop of windshield wipers. add in some soft classical music piping through the stereo and you've almost got perfection.
Friday: photo seventy-nine: what's warmer or funner than just out-of-the-oven, homemade pies? not much! these two custard pies are the workings of my older sister.
Saturday: photo eighty: sewing. needles. thread.
Sunday: photo eighty-one: gardens. it's that time of year for them. it's the turn of the season, which equates a turn of activities and life. fresh life... fresh gardens. i'm not the biggest gardener (um, by any stretch. ANY stretch) however other people in my family are much more diligent than i in attempts (note: attempts) to be self sustaining with a veggie garden (and pretty flowers to admire).
Monday: photo eighty-two: mark it in the history book, please. for once (and i really do mean this) one of my meals (breakfast) looks vaguely* photogenic. and even then, not largely. my meals are generally strangely combined and even stranger in appearance. this was a leisurely breakfast of grapes (piled into a quint teacup) and a gf, chocolate chip-coconut bar thingy.
Tuesday: photo eighty-four: none-chain restaurants are the coolest. especially non-chain restaurants that have authentic turkish food. and authentic-directly-from-turkey waiters/waitresses. i go to this place on occasion and everything there is good. it was a beautiful spring evening with the soft evening sun beaming on my arm when i snapped this photo.
Wednesday: photo eighty-three: chickens. oh yes... and oh dear, chickens. you can't deny it - they're adorable in the here and now. you can't reject a fuzzy lil' ball of feathers. unfortunately, however, as we all know... this will change. and these cute little frizz-balls will turn into big chickens... chickens who are a lot of work... and, well, not very clean (note: i am by no means a germ-phobe, but chickens are pushing it a pinch). but, we will have farm fresh eggs and that is pretty nifty. :)
isn't this one a cutie? it's black.
oh, and because these little guys are just so darn cute... i'll be posting too-many-more photos of them on this friday's extra-extra. :)
that's a wrap.
