hello friends,
here I have some photos from a {mini} photo shoot I did with a friend, elizabeth {so she's actually more my older sister's friend, but all the same}. elizabeth is from virginia. she was here visiting a few days before heading on a mission trip to honduras.
I got home from ballet one evening and she wanted to do a quick photo shoot before dinner. so I grabbed my camera and headed outside {in my tights, skirt, and leotard. yes, quite the professional photographer;) }. it was a nice shoot, albeit the light was fading which was frustrating. I think the photos could've been better, but all well. that's just how it goes sometimes.
so here are the photos. enjoy. :-)
as usual, I'd enjoy hearing your thoughts on these. hope everyone had a fabulous easter. <3

Oh wow! Incredible! My favorites are #2 and #5. You have some incredible places to take pictures in. She looks like she was enjoying every minute of it!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Looks like a lot of fun! and that you captured her personality - well, I don't know her, but you definately captured or portrayed A personality! hopefully it is hers! hehehehe!
ReplyDeletebtw, I'm a follower on your mom's blog..that's how I got to your sight!
I like the look your developing for your portraits....the turned the camera, slightly over exposed and I like the rustic props you used in contrast to the way she's dressed in the photos. :) Your really excelling in your art, Rebecca! It's very obvious that God has blessed you with a talent. I'm doing my first "paid" maternity shoot this weekend, please pray for me that I'm merely there as God's assistant! *grin* The lady I'm "shooting" was told that she would never have a child...and yet she believed and by faith and prayer she's going to be a new mom next month! I'm honored to be part of the welcoming party!
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you all, Cass
I love photo #3. The angle, the green shirt and red finger nails, the catchlights...awesome stuff! You've really mastered your style, and I'm so jealous. :) Keep up the good work!
