blackberries and rain boots

I love picking black berries. always have, ever since I was little. there's something just so cool about being able to go outside and pick something that you can actually eat. we have a huge black berry patch in our yard, and all the black berries are just starting to come in. it's wonderful. :)

whenever I go to pick some I have to make sure to put on my {rawther fabu} plaid rain boots... snakes! I actually saw one recently while picking the black berries. scared me so bad. yes. so. rain boots are good. plus I just feel so profesh in them. like a professional country girl or something. hehe.

aren't the berries beautiful? lately I've been putting them in smoothies. yum.

I'm still trying to get my bedroom together... get it decorated. I just have so many ideas, it's hard for me to get them all together. but I'm working on it. and when I do get it all together I can't wait to post pictures. :)

thanks so much for looking. thanks so much for the sweet comments you guys leave. <3

  1. Hi Rebecca,
I always enjoy viewing your photos! I *love* the first picture--so pretty with your rain boots in the background.

  2. I love the photographic style your developing. I wish I could mimic it! :) I especially like the way you managed to totally focus on the single blackberry in the second picture.

Because of your title for this post- I thought you were going to say that your 'blackberry' (as in a cell phone) was ruined in the rain. LOL.
