Poetic Capture : new camera, flowers, and a vlog:)

Hello!

Yes, I know it's been ages since I've updated. Yes, too bad. I've been terribly undisciplined in blogging and hope to do better. :)

So, life lately has been good, bad, dull, busy, boring, interesting and... well, it's just been life. nothing especially exciting. just life.
I am no longer working a job as I was over the fall/winter/up until about a month ago. I'm happy with that. life was calling. time to get back to photography, school (I'm supposed to be graduating this year, although I am going to have to school through the summer since I got behind, but it's still a very big "yay". the light is shining at the end of this tunnel).
I'm really happy to be back into photographer-girl mode. When I'm not creating I feel like I'm missing a part of myself. ya know? I think when you're an artistc person, creating is as essential to living as breathing. I really do think so.

I've gotten a new camera, which I'm thrilled about! big deal for me. her name is Gigi. She is my second DSLR. My last baby was a Canon 30D, her name was Gidget. They make great sibs (Gidget is a great big sister). So, since I was really happy about it I thought I would make a VLOG about it. It was pretty fun to do. and I think I might do more vlogs in the future... let me know if you like this one or not.

To end this post I would like to share with you some flower photos (taken with Gigi!). :) in the early morning I often like to go outside and get a bit of sun (the morning sun is really, really good for you, and it's just a great way to start the day because what's more anxiety-relieving and peaceful than sitting outside on a beautiful morning?), well, I noticed these lovelies glowing in the morning sun and went to snap a few... of course it ended up being more than just a few, because that's just always how it always ends up. ;) So anyway, hope you enjoy these photos and can feel a bit of the morning sunshine radiating from them.
