A rainy day

The other day it was one of those cool, cozy, rainy days. so I went outside w/ a mug of coffee, and sat on my front porch and enjoyed the soft split-splat of the rain hitting my feet. I decided a few pictures were in order, so I ran back inside and got my camera.:)

On a side note...I have a few questions for my readers... What do you think I could do to improve this blog? Do you like hearing a background about my photos...like what made me take a photo, or do you not really care?
General critiques of my photos? Things you would like to see more of?
I'd love to hear your opinion!
Thanks so much for looking!

  1. I like your entries just as they are...Such crisp artful photos. It provides a chance to ponder and reflect the Lord and His Creation on a busy day. Your photos say: Rest, relax and enjoy in the Lord...Bask in His Beauty.

I enjoy the contemplative music as well as I think upon the Lord and His Beauty here on your blog as I thank Him for His goodness in our lives. Great work Rebecca. (((hugs)))

  2. I do like your blog the way it is, with the white background and music. A few background notes are always nice, but not necessary. As far as your photos, I'd say you have a good choice of subject matter and perspective but could think more about where the different elements and light/dark areas lie in the frame. Overall, a nice feeling for a beginning photographer! Just keep practicing and learning how to use your tools and you will always see improvement.

I always like to see more photos. :)

  3. Yeah, if you told us what made you stop and notice what would make a great photograph, or what you were thinking when you took it, that would be cool.
