Garden Elves.

They're little elves that sit among the flower plants in my bedroom. They're made from Sculpey.

Moving out to the enchanting land of the twigs....

So, this is probably pretty old news to most of my friends...... since Michelle already posted about it the other day, but I wanted to post about it anyway. :-) We're moving! To the country. I'm excited. Especially because this means I'll have so much more scope for my photography. There's not much of any space in my little backyard for nifty photos.

It's really, really lovely, beautiful land.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's 22 acres.
We'll be building our house.

Glowing leaves. Lots of them.

Also, I have a new song on my playlist... make sure your sound is on. It goes nicely with this post.:-)

The Mystery of Light

Black & White in Color

Yay, yipee, hooray, hurrah, woohoo-Yes, you guessed, my first entry!!! (be excited.)

Hello!

So, this is my first post-yay.

I'll be using this blog to post my favourite photos that I've taken.
But first, here's a little background-I've been doing photography

for about one and one-half years now. Just this past February I

got my first DSLR-a Canon 30D. Her name is Gidget and she's a

very spoiled little camera.

:-)

Portrait of my precious camera:

(well I told you she was spoiled:) )

My general goal in my photos is to capture a certain dreaminess and a

poetic quality (thus the title of my blog). Well, I suppose I'll start off

with a few shots of me from a photo shoot I did a bit back.

I look forward to updating more in the future-thanks for looking! -Rebecca
