365: thirty-three!

Week thirty-three.

Photos 233-239.

Thursday:
on the windowsill...

Friday:
Enjoy the little things in life - this towel is kept out as a little reminder to do just that. this is one of my favorite sayings because it's just so dang true... the little things are what make life. it's the little everyday things that come together to make a beautiful life.

Saturday:
On my nightstand: I promise I really do try to keep a fairly neat nightstand. Here however, it is not.  But it's kind of fun that way because it made for an interesting picture. ;) On my nightstand...
My alarm clock, my sleeping mask that reads "i'm mooooo-dy in the morning" (this may or may not be true), sleeping mask 2 (in case I lose one, etc. etc. I hate sleeping without one so we must be prepared!), tissue, half a piece of Wrigley's chewing gum, (spearment), a packet of Stevia from my purse,  a peace and calm essential oil, various library books, and nail clippers. The end.

Sunday:
Getting computer work done at my kitchen table I come armed with silly putty (good stress reliever. no joke), my laptop, and a rather resourceful written-on-the-fly to-do list.

Didn't have access to a proper piece of paper - tearing a strip from a magazine article was the next best thing. Yep, it's okay to laugh.

Monday:
flowers.

Tuesday:
Starting new journal and I have torn pieces of written-on notebook paper to tape to empty pages.

It was a rainy afternoon, so a perfect time to sit and work on this.

Wednesday:
Fall candles are coming out from dusty shelfs. FALL, GUYS. Like pumpkins and stuff. Kind of exciting.

The end.

Week thirty-two: a dog named Coffee, dying flowers, and the moon...

This post is three days late. Isn't that terrible? Yes? I agree. It should have been up on Thursday. But this past week has kept me on my toes and.... we'll be honest... I didn't prioritize. Please just pretend this post is dated from the twenty-second, 'k? The end. :)

Please enjoy photos from week thirty-two of my three-sixty-five project! Below are photos 226-232.

out on my front porch sits coffee. her name is coffee because she's like a swig of caffeine.

she's a sweet dog, she loves to sniff and nibble at your toes. it's cute.

she's the kind of dog that when you look into her eyes you can tell she only wants to believe the best of you.

trees and chicken coops.

my home... a part of it.

dying roses. they give you a sense that there's a story to be told.

light.

oh hey, there's me.

contrast.

the moon. oh the beautiful moon.

the end.

365: Week Thirty-one.

Week thirty-one.

below are photos two-hundred-nineteen through two-hundred-twenty-five.

Thursday: spiderweb glimmering in the morning sunlight.

Friday: coming in from fresh morning air and seeing silhouetted shadow in side of countertop.

Saturday: waking in the early hours seeing pretty shadows sprawled on the ground below.

Sunday: pretty trinkets dangling on the tips of my ceiling fan pulls in my bedroom.

Monday: can you guess what this is?? hm? you have 30 seconds! ;)

got it? of course you have. it's a vanity table stool!

Tuesday: sitting on front porch at dusk watching moody clouds rolling in and the dust picking up and rain begin sprinkling is a wonderful thing.

so dark and beautiful. it's just stunning.

Wednesday: shelf in room containing few special nicknacks and glass bobbles.

the end until next week... :)

365. Evening falls: Week thirty.

It's a new week and a new milestone... Hit week thirty! I'm pleased. And even more pleased that I actually kind of like some of the photos I took over the last seven days. This is a first since at least about a month. I feel the last four weeks have been, at best, lackluster. Not that these are perfect, but I do like them at least a little. Or I'm at least not embarrassed to put them up (because sometimes I am).

For week thirty I focused mostly on capturing the outdoors at dusk. The pretty shadows and light are everywhere and it's just so lovely.  in abundance and it's spectacular.

Please enjoy. :)

Below are photos 212-218

Thursday:
the light slowly drops away, but beneath the darkness there's still some scattered light glowing and illuminating. i love the contrast in moods it creates.

Friday:
similar concept as above photo. light mixed with darkness. both moody and lovely.

this photo I really love - not sure everyone would "get it". But for me it makes me feel warm and vaguely reminiscent. not sure why... but it just has that vibe to me.

Saturday:
glowing leafs. one of my favorite parts about dusk.

Sunday: outside looking in (my house).

Monday:
tree.

lovelovelove the way light and shadows fade into one another.

Monday:
so many lovely and intricate tree limbs - their beauty heightened by the evening sky.

Tuesday:
and then... a week wouldn't be complete without a couple pics of my cats. *ahem*. but they really do make good scapegoat photo subjects. furthermore I was pretty proud to capture my cat mid-yawn. *winkwink

roar.

Wednesday:
and then there's miss mo with the beautiful eyes. she's more like a little creature in her mannerisms than a cat. she really is precious.
